Standard Locker Specifications


Wood Locker Overview:  All Dains Custom Athletic Lockers are manufactured in our Midwest Facility by the craftsmen of Dains Custom Athletic Lockers.

Locker Size: Standard sizes are 24" x 72" OR 
30" x 72". Custom sizes can be manufactured to client specifications.

 Locker Material:  Wood Lockers are built from 3/4"  grade A plywood and assembled using DCAL proprietary assembly methods. Any type of hardwood & veneers may be used on top of the plywood substrate. (Oak, Cherry, Maple, EcoWood, etc.)

 Locker Finish:  DCAL wood lockers are finished using the highest quality wood lacquer in accordance with DCAL proprietary application methods.  

 Locker Trim: Standard locker trim pieces, shelves, doors, seat and side supports and cleats are built from solid wood.

Wood Locker Hinges:  Standard locker hinges shall be manufactured by DCAL using high grade stainless steel.

Wood Locker Metal Accessories:  All metal accessories will be finished with stainless steel, or nickel plating.

Locks (If Required):  Shall be master keyed to one system for the entire locker room.

Five Year Warranty:  All DCAL lockers are covered for five years against any defects in material or workmanship except for deliberate damage or vandalism.
